ROAS
Return on Ad Spend — the revenue earned for every dollar spent on advertising. ROAS = 3x means you earn $3 for every $1 spent. The cross-industry average ROAS is approximately 2.19x.
ROAS = Revenue ÷ Ad SpendROI
Return on Investment — measures the profitability of an investment after all costs, including COGS and overhead. Unlike ROAS, ROI gives the complete profit picture.
ROI = (Revenue − Cost) ÷ Cost × 100%CPA
Cost Per Acquisition — the average cost to acquire one customer or conversion. Lower CPA = more efficient campaigns. Compare your CPA to your average order value to assess profitability.

Cost Per Click — the average cost for each click on your ad. Average CPC varies widely: Facebook ~$0.97, Google Search ~$2.69, LinkedIn ~$5.26.
